Why should only the biggest megayacht have the coolest toys? Just because you have limited stowage space doesn’t mean you’re left out. Gear’s Joy, a company whose founders are all adventure-oriented travelers, is offering what it says is the world’s lightest-weight underwater scooter. It’s the Geninno S1 Pro, and everyone aboard your yacht can use it.
In fact, the eight-pound (3.7-kilogram) scooter is easy to handle regardless of whether you have swimmers, snorkelers, or expert divers amid your crowd. It can propel you for an hour straight before you need to recharge its battery pack. Additionally, the Geninno S1 Pro can dive down 164 feet (50 meters), at just 4 mph to ensure you can appreciate seeing every fish, reef, and creature.
We tell you more about the Geninno S1 Pro scooter in the June edition of the Megayacht News newsletter. Sent on a subscriber-only basis every month, the newsletter contains news and information not included here on our website. For example, this month we bring you news about a record-setting launch from Custom Line. We also talk about how the yachting industry is getting more serious about communicating its sustainability efforts without “greenwashing.” Plus, we share updates about the new Fraser Yachts office in West Palm Beach, and a haul-out improvement at Marine Group Boat Works. Additionally, we update you on the latest Megayacht News Radio podcast episode.
